Artistic Activism: In the late 90s, Ciotola’s work shifted toward social commitment. In 2003, he founded the "Stop Homoph Art" movement. His flagship work, "The Madonna of the Homosexuals", premiered at the Mercadante Theater in Naples in 2014, garnering international acclaim and the attention of high-ranking officials at the European Parliament.
Founding New Movements: In 2017, Ciotola revolutionized contemporary art by founding Finger Art Ciotola, where the finger becomes the artwork itself, symbolizing raw human connection.
